  SIGNIS AWARDS JURY
 
Pablo Marcet BONEL, a Spanish national, graduated from the University of Navarra in Spain. His PhD thesis dealt with Gossip in Mass Communications. Presently he works as a consultant on film and television, as well as in projects concerning corporate Internet Protocol Television (IPTV). He is an expert in Marketing and Licensing of audio-visual productions. In the last decade, he has worked for different international foundations and has been involved with film production companies focused on cultural and educational contents.
 
 
Teresa R. TUNAY is an experienced Filipino journalist. She has travelled in 44 countries, covering a variety of events including interviewing seamen on board an oil tanker crossing the Atlantic Ocean and investigating the child labour situation in ASEAN countries. Presently she is a freelance media consultant and a columnist for the Philippine Daily Inquirer, the leading newspaper in the Philippines. She is also the founding board member, reviewer and editor of the Catholic Initiative for Enlightened Movie Appreciation (CINEMA), the film authority of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines.
 
 
Shirley TSANG is a media personnel and a registered social worker. She graduated from the Hong Kong Baptist University with a Master’s degree, concentrating on the Paradox of Family Solidarity in Movies. She worked as a radio presenter for more than 10 years. She was also the columnist for Apple Daily and Metro Daily. Her particular interest is in the integration of media concepts and social work. Currently, she is the Project Officer of the Diocesan Audio Visual Centre and a part-time lecturer at the City University of Hong Kong, teaching “Media and Popular Culture” and “Oral Communication and Presentation Skills”.
