Clare STEWART is the Festival Director of the Sydney Film Festival. Her second festival in 2008 saw the introduction of an international Official Competition. Stewart was previously the first Head of Film Programs at the Australian Centre for the Moving Image and programmed for the Australian Film Institute for five years and the Melbourne Cinémathèque for seven years. She has lectured in Cinema Studies at RMIT University and has worked as a broadcaster and critic. She was a recipient of the Queen’s Trust Award for Young Australians. |

James LEE was born in Ipoh, Malaysia in 1973. He started off in theatre performance and productions before venturing into experimental shorts for video. He went into TV productions in 1997 and made his first DV feature film Snipers (01). In 2002, he officially founded Doghouse 73 Pictures and started producing other independent DV features. Teresa KWONG is a promoter, curator and producer for film and media arts. She has worked the Hong Kong Arts Centre since 1997 and is a member of NETPAC (Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema). Currently she is the Director of the Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards (ifva). She has served as a jury member in various international film festivals, including the Pusan Film Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival and Women Film Festival in Seoul. She has started producing films with emerging filmmakers in Hong Kong and China. |
